Octagonal-Shaped Gold Trimmed White Ceramic Mugs by Richfield, Tachikichi
From Kyoto-based brand Tachikichi’s Richfield line which was discontinued in the 1990s
During the 1970s-90s, Tachikichi produced Western style lines “Adam & Eve” and “Richfield” to appeal to the younger generation
These mugs were likely to have been produced towards the end of the Richfield line, in the early 1990s
They are exceptionally large for Japan-made mugs for domestic use and the octagonal-shaped design would have been unusual for that period
Trimmed with gold accents on the rim and handles
Marked “Richfield Tachikichi Inc.” on base

CONDITION – VERY GOOD
Very minimal wear to gold accent on rim. Overall very good condition.
NOTE: Avoid using microwave as it may cause damage to the gold accents.
