Haori Jacket
High Quality Silk Haori with Floral Design
A haori is a traditional jacket worn over a kimono, usually hip or thigh length
It functions more like a Western cardigan or light coat and is worn open at the front
Haori himo (small decorative cords) can be used to fasten it loosely
With meticulously tidy hand-stitching on the sleeves, this is a high quality garment using extremely smooth silk that has a fluid-like feel and cool to the touch
The orange, green and white floral design pops against the contrast of the deep blue base colour (the blue is slightly darker than how it appears in photos)
It still has its Shitsuke-ito, long basting stitches in white thread used to hold the fabric layers flat and maintain its shape during storage
Gently pull out the stitches and remove before wearing
An unused vintage pair of haori himo is included
