Rather than relying on specific techniques or clays, Kiyomizu ware has a fusion of styles and artisans are free to experiment
This teapot set has large plum blossoms hand-painted in a beautiful gosu (cobalt blue)
Plum blossoms are associated with good fortune, warding off illnesses and supporting longevity
This set is no longer in production and a rare find

Cups like new. Teapot handle has sign of age such a darkening and marks on the wood. Overall very good condition.
