Bag made from Upcycled Obi Belt With Scenic Design
Stunning one-of-a-kind bag, handmade utilizing a high quality vintage obi belt which in parts has used real Hon-kinpaku (gold leaf) threads in its design
It features a beautiful selection of Japanese imagery with a pheasant in flight over a waterfall, as well as a variety of seasonal florals and the traditional motifs of Shouchikubai (Matsu Pine, Bamboo and Plum Blossoms)
The fabric has been split down the middle to create two pockets on each side
A cream kinchaku bukuro (drawstring pouch) has been affixed to the inside
There are two D-rings on each side for the option to add your own shoulder strap; any strap will work, however, from an aesthetic point of view, either a chain strap or a slim cream leather strap is recommended

Caring for your obi bag
Since obi fabric can easily snag, avoid rough handling to preserve its delicate material
Do not wash with water and opt for professional cleaning or spot cleaning/wiping instead
The obi fabric may have a musty scent due to being vintage, so place the bag in a well-ventilated area to air out while avoiding direct sunlight
Vintage, antique and pre-loved items may show some signs of aging or wear. Please inspect the photos carefully before making your purchase.
