1980s limited edition print by Shinjiro Nozaki, printed as Shareholder Anniversary gifts
Shinjiro Nozaki (1923–2011) was born in Tottori prefecture and worked in both woodblock and silkscreen techniques
He often focused on mountain landscapes, Mount Fuji being one of his favourite subjects, which he depicted from a modern viewpoint
In this piece, a snow-capped Mount Fuji in geometric form has a gentle pink hue, possibly from reflecting the sunset, spreading across its middle
The colours on this print are exceptionally vibrant and bright despite its vintage age
Hand-written in pencil on the bottom margin is the title, his signature, as well as the artist seal with his name “Nozaki” in red ink
Comes with original frame, including cream-coloured matting and a glass front panel, as well as paperwork with artist bio
Sticker on back notes that this is an anniversary gift for shareholders of Taito Pfizer Co., Ltd. (now Pfizer Japan, Inc.)

CONDITION - VERY GOOD
PRINT: No issues on printed image. Matting has some signs of aging/foxing (yellowing), some of which has transferred slightly to the back of the print sheet.
FRAME: Minor surface scratches/marks to glass and wooden frame consistent with age. Corner of the frame slightly loose but can be fixed (with glue).
Overall very good condition.
Vintage, antique and pre-loved items may show some signs of aging or wear. Please inspect the photos carefully before making your purchase.
