Yokkaichi Banko Ware Tea Pot by Fujii Ikkyu
Preloved teapot in like new condition by multi-award-winning master teapot craftsman Fujii Ikkyu (1943~)
Yokkaichi Banko ware originates from Mie Prefecture, with a history dating back to the mid-Edo period
A wealthy merchant, Numami Rozan from Kuwana (northern Mie), built a kiln and began tea utensil production due to his passion for tea ceremony
