Unique, one-of-a-kind pre-loved dish with hand-painted design that continues across all four sides and can be enjoyed from every angle
Artisan-made, painted by hand using both cobalt blue and iron glazes
Chidori (plovers) are small birds that live in flocks near water and can fly through strong winds and high waves (nami) during migration
The Nami Chidori motif symbolizes perseverance and overcoming challenges, especially for families and communities navigating and conquering rough waters together
Can also be used as an ikebana bowl
Signed on the base with what appears to be the characters “Shozan” (artisan to be attributed)
