Hakeme Design Sake Set

¥12,580

Pre-loved Set of 2 Tokkuri (Decanter) and 4 Choko (Sake Cups)

  • This lovely artisan made sake set has a Hakeme design, meaning "brush stroke"

  • Typically, white clay is applied onto a piece with a single brush stroke giving an expressive feel to the overall design

  • The vigorousness of the markings is especially noticeable on the tokkuri

  • Each piece slightly differs in design due to being handcrafted

  • One tokkuri has been made using more clay, therefore a bit heavier with a narrower opening inside the neck

  • The colours are a beautiful blend of the grey base glaze, peach and creamy white

  • Potter’s mark is on base of each piece
