Based on the traditional Hina doll set displayed on Girls’ Day, March 3rd
They female’s hairstyle and the male’s headwear reflect the style of the Heian Period (Late 8th to 12th century)
Both are hand-painted with plum blossom design
Plum blossom are one of the first flowers that bloom early in the year during winter
Due to their strong resilience and vitality they are considered auspicious, warding off illnesses and brings longevity
