Kutani ware originates from the Kaga region of Ishikawa Prefecture, with roots dating back to around 1655 during the early Edo period
Defined by its vibrant colors, intricate designs, and often the application of gold leaf
"Meoto", meaning "couple", are traditionally given as wedding gifts
