He is president of the Japanese Print Society and currently teaches woodblock printing at Waseda University, Tokyo
Most of his works are themed around local matsuri (festivals) and mingei (folk craft) items, exploring local cultures of Japanese rural areas
All calendar prints are unsigned - sourced from woodblock print specialist shop in Jimbocho
