  • Vintage Sousaku “Creative” style Kokeshi from the 1960s

  • Crafted by Hanpushi Takanashi, an artisan from Yamagata Prefecture active during the 1960s

  • Takanashi produced a very limited number of dolls before disappearing from the craft scene

  • Due to their rarity, his works are now highly sought after

CONDITION - GOOD

Shows signs of age, including sun patina, marks to the back of the head, and some glue discoloration. Overall good condition for its age.
