  • Superb studio pottery piece with texture applied through net or cloth-impressions onto the surface

  • A thick slab of high iron content red clay has been used and finished with grey and greyish-blue glazes

  • Can be used as tableware or enjoyed as a work of art, with the keshiki (scenery) changing depending on orientation

  • Stamped on back with the larger mark “MINORI” which could be attributed to the artisan name, while the script above it to the kiln
