  • Pre-loved sake set from 1990s-2000s

  • Tobe Ware from Ehime Prefecture originates from around 1700 during the Edo Period and in 1976 was designated as a national traditional craft

  • It is characterized by a thick, smooth white porcelain with hand-painted designs using indigo pigment “Gosu” and known for its durability and resistance to breakage

  • Both pieces feature a Mitsuba motif, a three-leaf Japanese parsley symbolizing health, growth, vitality and stability

  • From Baizan Gama, a well-known kiln which began production in 1882

  • Kiln name is marked on the bases

  • Similar designs are still produced by Baizan Gama today
