From Yuzawa, an onsen (hot spring) village in Niigata Prefecture
Bishamonten, also known as Tamonten, is the most famous Buddhist deity in Yuzawa Onsen and enshrined at Bishamon-do (Kichijozan Fuko-ji Temple)
As one of the Four Heavenly Kings, he is responsible for guarding the north
He is one of the Seven Lucky Gods, Shichifukujin as well as the god of war
Said to bring victory, attracting good luck with money and warding off evil
